How did those actions or inaction cause the fatal accident? What was the result? These are the legal questions we have to answer and elements that must be proven to establish the defendant's liability.
Equally important is the story of who your loved one was as a human being and how you and your family have been affected by their loss. Telling this story is a way to both honor your loved one's memory and to make their death and its effects on your family much more real to the judge or jury if the case goes to trial.
