California accident results in teen's death

A 26-year-old man allegedly caused a three-car crash in Manteca on Sep. 13, resulting in the critical injury of a 45-year-old woman and the death of her granddaughter. The vehicles were traveling on Highway 120 near Main Street when the man's Dodge Caravan reportedly rear-ended a Mercury Grand Marquis which then struck a Lexus. According to California Highway Patrol, the Dodge driver was traveling at an unsafe speed as surrounding traffic was slowing down.

3 dead after California car crash

An accident involving multiple vehicles occurred at the intersection of Floral and Elm in Caruthers on August 28. California Highway Patrol stated the chain-reaction crash started when a blue box truck failed to stop at a stop sign. The truck hit a minivan and sent it spinning into a Chevrolet Avalanche. The Avalanche then crashed into a Nissan Cube. The series of impacts left a considerable amount of debris in the road.
