Head-on collision involving race car kills 1 in California

A two-person vehicle was hit head-on by a rare sports car in Rancho Santa Fe. The Dec. 24 accident took place around 2:00 p.m. and killed one person. At the time of reporting, the California Highway Patrol did not determine if the collision was caused by racing.

Chain reaction crash kills 1

California Highway Patrol confirmed that a 36-year-old woman from Dublin was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Dec. 10. After being ejected from her vehicle, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Investigators do not believe that impairment was a factor in the collision, and toxicology results were not immediately available.

Head-on collision injures 2 drivers

California Highway Patrol confirmed that two drivers were injured in a head-on collision that took place along State Route 76 on Dec. 8. The two-car crash happened around 6:50 a.m. in San Diego. Following the collision, authorities were forced to shut down the highway near the accident scene for almost an hour and a half.

California head-on collision kills two, drunk driving suspected

Two people are dead following a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 101 in Marin County on Nov. 23. The California Highway Patrol stated the crash might have been caused by a drunk driver.
