California crash leaves 1 dead, 2 in critical condition

Around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the intersection of Orange Avenue and Somerset Boulevard, a five-car collision left one person dead and two critically injured. The accident is thought to be the result of street racing. Two Chevrolet trucks were traveling northbound on Orange Avenue. One cleared the intersection, but the second collided with a 2004 Ford pickup truck.

Couple receives $1 million settlement in California accident

According to documents filed with the court, a San Juan Capistrano couple will receive $1 million in a settlement negotiated with a truck driver's estate and his employer. According to documents, the settlement resulted from a collision between the truck driver and a passenger vehicle on Jan. 12, 2012.

California man dies in possible drunk driving accident

One person died and another suffered serious injuries after a two-car accident on Oct. 24. The crash occurred around 10:05 p.m. on Highway 44 near the intersection of Millville Plains Road in Redding. A 35-year-old Palo Cedro man was traveling in the westbound lane of Highway 44 and crossed the center line into the eastbound lane, entering the path of a 2011 Subaru Impreza. The 35-year-old's 2002 Ford truck collided head-on with the Impreza.
